Job Title: Neighbourhood Caretaker

Job Role We are working with a client in Kent who are seeking to recruit a
Neighbourhood Caretaker to join there
Neighbourhood Housing Team. In this role
, you will play a vital role in ensuring that residents live in a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment. You will collaborate with various departments within
the Housing Association, as well as external stakeholders and partners, to uphold high standards of estate management.
Key responsibilities include:
\n- Providing excellent gardening and grounds maintenance services to keep communal areas clean and free from rubbish.
\n- Conducting regular inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and security across the estate.
\n- Ensuring compliance with fire safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
\n- Liaising with residents, colleagues, and external partners to address any maintenance concerns effectively.
\n- Working both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality services to the community.

About You We are looking for a
dedicated and proactive individual with experience in
grounds maintenance and
neighbourhood services. The ideal candidate will:
\n- Have previous experience in grounds maintenance, caretaking, or estate services.
\n- Be able to communicate and engage effectively with residents, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
\n- Work well within a team but also have the ability to take initiative and work independently.
\n- Demonstrate a commitment to high standards of cleanliness, safety, and resident satisfaction.

Additional Information\n- \nWorking Hours: 37 hours per week
\n- Monday - Thursday: 8:45 am - 5:15 pm
\n- Friday: 8:45 am - 4:45 pm
\n
\n \n- There may be a requirement to work outside of these core hours in the event of urgent issues on the estate.
\n- A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required.
\n- This role is subject to a basic DBS check.
\n
