Description:
Role Title: Network Engineer - SDA Phase 2
Location: Office - Barrow in Furness (full onsite).
Duration: end of August 2025
candidate must have active SC Clearance
Role Description:
Inputting into High Level Designs
Creating Low Level designs from approved High-Level Designs
Configuring core infrastructure components, eg data center fabric, access/distribution Switches, Routers, WAN, Firewalls, load balancers, authentication Servers, Wifi controllers, and management tooling.
Performing impact assessments on large or complex networks.
Performing testing to predetermined plans and analysing results.
Planning survey's/surveying for cross-site distribution areas (checking for cabling power/space (photo's to be taken)
Installing new SDA Switches in readiness for OOH work for installation/take on and testing of kit, providing ELS and decom/removal of old Switches Installation/take on and testing of new SDA kit
