Job Title: Senior Network Platform Engineer
Location: Antrim, Northern Ireland - Remote/Hybrid Options Available
(must be willing to travel to the office at least once per month)
About the Role:
A well-established Managed Service Provider (MSP) in Northern Ireland launched a new Cloud Networking division three years ago and has seen significant growth and demand.
The platform is based on VMware Cloud Foundation Suite, using the latest VxRail Hyperconverged system and best-of-breed technology stack.
As a Senior Network Platform Engineer, this role offers the opportunity to develop expert knowledge of cutting-edge cloud networking technologies, influence the strategic direction of the division, and manage key projects working with top-tier vendors.
Responsibilities:
Implement and oversee network routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, NAT, VRF, IP Routing, and VPN. (ISP routing protocol experience preferred)
Design, configure, and manage IP networking in collaboration with multiple Tier 1 Transit providers.
