Network Engineer

Our client, a leading global consultancy, are looking for a Network Engineer to join for an initial 6-month contract based in Coventry, on a fully on-site basis.�The Engineer will be responsible for the implementation of new network solutions, along with developing and improving the efficiency of current network services.

ROLE: NETWORK PROJECT ENGINEER

LOCATION: COVENTRY (FULLY ON-SITE)

LENGTH: 6 MONTHS WITH SCOPE TO EXTEND
Responsibilities:

• Work with Product Managers, Architects & Planners to ensure the successful delivery of network services.


• Installation of new technology for the lifecycle management of the Network Product Towers (Passive, LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, Network Telecoms, Tooling and Network Security).


• Installation of Network Services across all technologies within IT and projects across the organisation including managing 3rd�parties where required.


• Network installation of technology for projects run internally to the Network Product team where new technology is being introduced.

Required skills and knowledge:

• Hands on experience specific to the delivery of network based technology.


• Network delivery experience with a track record of successful delivery covering planning, implementation, design, test, deployment and operation of new products


• Experience in the use of agile development methodologies


• Excellent oral and written communication skills


• Experience working within diverse teams, complex engagements involving multiple service providers & teams.


• CCNA level certification desirable
