Network Engineer – Portsmouth – £38,000Our client, an industry leading IT Consultancy, is looking for their next Network Engineer to join their team. Based in a state of the art office in the centre of Portsmouth, they provide expert support and consultancy to a whole host of high street brands.The roleUtilise internal ticketing systems to manage workloads.Act as a networking subject matter expert on projects both internal and external.Take part in networking changes, internal and external patching.Maintain and manage system notifications and alerts, pinpointing opportunities across all of their monitoring platforms.Provide support both internally to colleagues and externally to customers.Introduce accurate documentation in line with company processes.Experience RequiredAt least 4 years IT Infrastructure support experience (Ideally in an MSP)Knowledge of routing and switching protocolsExperience with either Juniper SRX, Fortigate or Cisco ASA firewalls.Any of Wireshark, PRTG or Solarwinds.DesiredCCNA or JNCIA-Junos CertificationData Centre experienceAzure CloudVirtualisation experience (Ideally VMware)BenefitsYearly BonusOn site parking27 Days annual leave + Bank HolidaysCompany pension schemeOn site Gym Interviews are underway for this role so don’t hesitate to apply if this is the role for you.Applications from non British citizens will not be considered as we cannot offer sponsorship for this roleNetwork Engineer – Portsmouth – £38,000
