Network Engineer required for leading Financial Services organisation to work 100% remote with on call. This is an initial 6 months inside IR35 contract role with a strong possibility of moving to permanent.
Skills Required.
The successful individual must:
\n- Understand and manage Internal BGP and OSPF routing
\n- Understand and manage L2 VRF/Vlan/STP and Mlag, Port-Channel concept
\n- Have experience with network monitoring tools and network alerts e.g Observium / Icinga / Nagios
\n- Have experience with firewall, IDS/IPS Managing Arista Switches Scripting for
\n- Ideally you will have experience of networking monitoring and automation, SONiC management and deployment and basic cloud networking knowledge
\n- Certification in AWS/Cisco/Arista/PaloAlto is desirable.

Responsibilities.
The Network Engineer’s role is to ensure the stability and integrity of the in-house unicast and multicast network environment. The role will involve:
\n- Planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organisation.
\n- Participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimisation of all network hardware, software, and communication links.
\n- Analyse and resolve network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and handle security and Firewall requests.
