Network Service Engineer
Whitehall Resources require a Network Service Engineer to work with a key client on an initial 3 month contract.
*Inside IR35.
*This role will be mainly remote with occasional visits to London.

The Role:
As an experienced VMware NFV cloud engineer focused on public and private cloud, networking and services, you will partner with In-Life Operations to automate and build out products to meet the strategies and prioritised roadmaps for core infrastructure on which the various businesses run. As part of the product engineering team in Telco Cloud you will help us to move towards a more product-focused approach. You will work with our technical and highly dynamic teams to drive an outsized impact on software engineering.

VMware - VIO, vSphere 7, vSAN, NSX-T, Tanzu TKG-M and vROPS
Ericsson SDI, CCI, CCE and CCD
Nokia CloudBand
Mavenir NFVi
Understanding security and networking requirements. Ensuring TSA compliancy.
Understanding of other marketplace Cloud technologies advantageous as you can support future business plans and decisions.
What you will do:
* Partner with our customers (other internal engineering teams), to better understand their requirements, problems and work together to deliver needed solutions in the best manner and aligned to IaaS patterns, security and networking principals.
* Reinforce consistency and coherence across all designs, and identify areas for improvements.
* Develop solutions which will evolve with the business direction.
* Work with the automation and build teams to develop automation and create the automated BAU change catalogue. Ensure that delivers can not only be built through automation but scales and flexes inline.
* Build and maintain documentation for the design that enables teams to use the design repeatably.
* Schedule automated changes into the In Life Operations team working to objectives, scenario prioritisation, and customer requirements.
* Partner with other product managers and engineering teams to create cohesive strategies and roadmaps across organisational boundaries.
* Foster an environment that is customer-focused, data-driven, and hypothesis/experimentation based.
* Own the engagement with our Telco Cloud internal partners.
* Help evolve the automated Cloud management discipline and practices within Telco Cloud.
