We are looking for a New Business Insurance Broker, where you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base by identifying, targeting, and securing new business opportunities in the construction industry. Responsibilities of the New Business Insurance Broker

• 
  

  To generate new business from various sources including leads generated for you by our development team. No cold calling required. 

• 
  

  To achieve a monthly new business target 

• 
  

  To administer and service clients, which includes where necessary but is not limited to midterm administration, preparation of risks to insurers, negotiating premiums with underwriters, assisting with claims and all other general administration and client handling. 

• 
  

  To be responsible and accountable for the retention, maintenance and growth of a book of clients on behalf of the company.

• 
  

  To cross-sell products according to the demands and needs of the existing clients.

• 
  

  To assist the Directors and other staff members when requested.

Key Skills and Experience Required of our New Business Insurance Broker

• 
  

  Excellent technical knowledge of Insurance including but not limited to Combined Liability, Contractors All Risks, Professional Indemnity, Motor Fleet, Directors and Officers Liability, Office and Cyber  

• 
  

  Competent on Acturis, Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook programs

• 
  

  Excellent written and telephone skills 

• 
  

  A proven track record for meeting and exceeding targets

• 
  

  To possess excellent sales skills

• 
  

  To possess excellent negotiation skills

• 
  

  To understand and assist clients and fellow staff members with any Insurance queries
