New Business Intake Manager

A global law firm is looking for a New Business Intake Manager to join their Compliance & Risk team in London.The successful candidate for the New Business Intake Manager role will lead the firm's new business intake processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations and internal risk management policies. This role is critical to ensuring smooth client onboarding while mitigating any potential legal and business risks.Key Responsibilities for New Business Intake Manager role:Oversee and manage the new business intake process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of client onboarding in compliance with the firm's AML, KYC, and regulatory requirements.Liaise with partners and senior leadership to provide insights on new business risk and recommend solutions.Monitor regulatory updates and implement necessary changes in business intake procedures.Being a key decision maker for your team in relation to appropriateness of CDD and compliance with applicable regulationsRole model, and actively manage your team to ensure they demonstrate the firm’s values and behaviours.Collaborate with stakeholders across departments, including legal teams, compliance, and risk management, to identify potential conflicts of interest or other risks.Manage a team responsible for business intake, offering guidance, training, and performance management.Supervising the conflict checking process to ensure the checks are performed accurately.Identifying and escalating potential conflicts issues.Qualifications:Extensive experience in new business intake and compliance within a law firm.Strong understanding of AML, KYC and other regulatory obligations.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with partners, lawyers, and business services teams.Proven leadership and team management experience.How to Apply:If you are a dedicated professional looking to elevate your career in a supervisory role with a leading international law firm, we invite you to apply or get in touch at #####
