Night Shift Manager

Night Shift Manager | 12 month contract x4: Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations:

The Role:

We're looking for 4 exceptional Shift Managers to join a critical ongoing programme for a public sector body. This would be ideal for someone working as a current Shift Manager or Warehouse Manager, who pride themselves on operational excellence and efficiency.

• 12 hour, 4 on 4 off shift patterns, with day and night shifts available, you choose!
• Duration: 12 months initially, likely to extend past this!
• Start Date: ASAP
• Rate: Up to �375p/d Umbrella
• Location: Ashford, Kent - Fully on-site

Requirements:

• Strong previous experience as a Shift Manager, Logistics Manager, or Warehouse Manager.
• Ideally from a supply chain/logistics background.
• Experience surrounding the movement FMCG, Border control (ports, airports etc..) or the transportation of food is highly desirable.
• Great communication skills, coupled with strong leadership and management.
• Worked in high pressure, fast paced environments.
• Solid report writing and performance monitoring/management experience.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the performance of shift workers within your team, ensuring efficient handling of caseloads whilst meeting/exceeding performance targets/metrics.
• Maintain exceptional relationships on-site with third parties, in addition to being the main point of contact for any escalations.
• Write clear and concise shift reports, and accurately record activities and performance.
• Implement and adhere to best practices to ensure the smooth running of your operations, including the quick resolution of issues.
• Remain compliant with regard to the relevant standards/regulations.
