Role: Non-Domestic Energy Assessor (NDEA)

Location: South Birmingham (Hybrid)

Salary: �30,000 - �45,000 (Negotiable)

Overview

This nearly 50-year old MEP consultancy is centred just south of Birmingham in the heart of Worcestershire. As a business, they have a solid team of 15-20 engineers (Mech, Electrical & Sustainability) that provide comprehensive design/consultancy services on projects within the healthcare, industrial, commercial, residential (extra care) and educational sectors.

They have an excellent team culture and provide all their staff with a combination of training and flexibility that suits their lifestyle/career aspirations. This has resulted in an extremely low staff turnover.

They are actively seeking a qualified non-domestic energy assessor. They are fairly flexible with this position and are open to people with a solid understanding of Building Services/Energy.

Role

As a Non-Domestic (Commercial) Energy Assessor, you will be expected to;

• Carry out site Surveys and generate EPCs (Energy performance Certificates) for a variety of Commercial Properties.
• Work closely with the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering team.
• Liaise with clients, provide advice on Energy requirements and targets.
• Travel to site (UK license and car is preferred).
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Have full right to work in the UK.
• Ideally have experience using IES VE, iSBEM or DesignBuilder to complete thermal modelling tasks.
