Partnering with a leading FMCG brand known for its innovation and growth, we are looking to expand their team with a skilled project manager. The company is renowned for its fast-paced environment and strong market presence, constantly pushing the boundaries in the EMEA region.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a project manager with FMCG experience to oversee the full lifecycle of New Product Development (NPD) projects within the EMEA region. This project manager role involves managing multiple FMCG projects from concept through to market launch, collaborating with teams across the UK, US, and various EMEA countries. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in FMCG project management and a highly organised, results-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
As the project manager, take charge of the NPD portfolio for the EMEA region, ensuring all FMCG projects are delivered on time and in full. Work closely with internal and external teams to align project intake and maintain monthly governance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and success criteria. Lead project planning sessions to outline deliverables and key milestones for FMCG projects. Develop comprehensive project plans and manage dependencies to keep projects on track.
The project manager will coordinate with US-based teams on product development initiatives and ensure the accurate flow of information throughout the Supply and Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Liaise with bottling partners and suppliers to ensure timely project commercialisation.
Lead cross-functional teams as the project manager, providing clear direction and maintaining momentum through regular updates and action tracking. Prioritise tasks to align with project goals and drive successful outcomes in FMCG projects.
Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Facilitate collaboration on FMCG projects and address any issues promptly to keep projects moving forward.
Identify and assess risks in FMCG project management, developing mitigation strategies to minimise their impact on project delivery. Monitor projects using established tools and processes, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Analyse data to make informed decisions and identify opportunities for process improvement in FMCG projects. Lead efforts to enhance project management practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
At least 5 years of experience in project management within the FMCG sector.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple FMCG projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, particularly within a stage-gate framework.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach to FMCG projects.
Capable of thriving in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, especially within FMCG contexts.
