NPI Development Engineer

Cure Talent is thrilled to partner with an innovative MedTech startup at the forefront of wearable medical device development and innovation.
Due to continued growth, we have an exciting, newly created hybrid role for an NPI Development Engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting product development through NPI activities, working closely with engineering partners and contract manufacturers in post-design development activities into production. This will include managing technical documentation and maintaining our engineering data.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support engineers and contract engineers in mechanical engineering.
* Create and manage product and production technical documentation.
* Maintain the company’s engineering data within an ISO 13495 QMS.
* Have responsibility for engineering drawings (BS 8888) and technical documentation and reports relating to technical files for medical devices.
* Work collaboratively with contracted design agencies and contract manufacturing partners.
Skills, Experience and Education:
* Degree educated in Mechanical Engineering
* Proven experience in an NPI-focused role within Medical Devices
* Proven Design Change Control Processes in Medical Devices
* Experience of working with a start-up and/or new product launches is highly advantageous
