p strong Seeking a Newly Qualified-1 PQE Associate from magic, silver or US law firm with experience in M&A, Litigation or Finance and is wanting to transition in-house. /strong /p br Read on to fully understand what this job requires in terms of skills and experience If you are a good match, make an application. br p Our client is an international fast-paced moving B2C business looking for a smart, experienced and highly motivated 0-1 PQE M&A, Finance or Litigation lawyer to transition into a commercial role and join their fast-growing team at this highly successful and rapid growth business. This role is based close to London city. /p p They are looking for a motivated and highly capable individual, with 0-1 years PQE. Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel and Head of Legal, you will have an interesting and varied workload encompassing a broad range of legal matters including: /p p Negotiating contracts with clients and vendors. /p p Working closely with the client services team and our clients’ legal and compliance teams to ensure clients access knowledge safely. /p p Drafting and implementing internal policies and procedures to appropriately manage risk. /p p Developing and delivering legal and compliance training to the business. /p p Working on corporate structure and company secretarial matters. /p p Dealing with evolving areas of law including intellectual property, data privacy, technology, sanctions and regulatory compliance, employment and taxation. /p p Skills and experience required: /p p Qualified as a solicitor in a UK jurisdiction with at least 1 years’ post-qualification experience in M&A, Litigation or Finance. /p p Strong academic background, with training at a reputable UK or international law firm. You might already have some in-house experience, but this isn’t essential. /p p Highly organised and able to manage concurrent projects and deadlines in a fast-moving environment. /p p Strong communicator, skilled at advising and influencing on complex topics in a direct, commercial manner without jargon or sitting on the fence. /p p Willing to work on a broad range of projects, to try new things, and to step outside your legal specialism to help the team. /p p As Legal Counsel you will work closely with the Head of Legal and the General Counsel based in London, senior leadership of the business based in London and colleagues in the legal and compliance team based globally. With a high level of independence, you will be empowered to use your initiative to take ownership of your projects.
