Nurse Band 5

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses Band 5 to join our healthcare team in Gloucester. We are looking for Paediatric, Anaesthetic, Theatre nurses.

Due to the nature of our roles, candidates must be a UK Resident residing within the local area. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Benefits we offer are:

• Flexibility, you can choose to work part time, weekdays, weekends, whenever suites your availability.
• We offer £20/hour Monday to Friday, £25/hour Saturday and Nights, £30/hour Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualised care plans based on patient assessments.
• Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions or side effects.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of patient care practices, including medication administration techniques.
• Proficient understanding of human anatomy to effectively assess and treat patients.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Empathy and compassion towards patients, demonstrating a commitment to their well-being.
