I am looking for a Registered Night Nurse to work in a nursing home situated in a residential development close to Halesowen town centre. The home offers the highest possible standards of care and support to older people with challenging behaviour in spacious, modern yet homely and safe surroundings.
As a Registered Nurse your key duties will include:
Ensuring the highest possible standards of care, assessing residents' needs and wishes, and developing services to enhance their quality of life
Champion appropriate independence and personal choice; developing, reviewing and updating care plans to meet our residents physical, social and psychological needs
Oversee all aspects of medicine management on your shift
ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered, in accordance with company policies and current legislation
Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines
identify, investigate and resolve risks proactively
Support, guide, teach and mentor others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times
For this role you must have:
NMC Registration as a Qualified Registered Nurse
The ability to work 8pm - 8am, including alternative weekends
Care home experience with elderly, dementia and complex care
The ability to lead a team, analyse problems and propose solutions or improvements
Understand and effectively use IT and communication systems
A respect for the values, views and needs of others
