Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Nursery Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care and education to young children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and supporting their development.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily running of the nursery, supporting the Nursery Manager and other staff members.
- Engage with children in educational activities and play to promote learning and development.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for children.
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues regarding children's progress and well-being.
- Support children's personal care needs, including feeding, changing, and comforting.
- Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities.
Skills:
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
- Ability to manage and supervise children effectively.
- Experience working with young children in a childcare setting.
- Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Hold a valid driving licence for potential nursery duties.
- Knowledge of childcare practices and early childhood education.
- Demonstrated leadership skills within a nursery or similar environment.

Pay: £86.45-£92.33 per day
