Nursery Assistant Job Description:

A well-established nursery school in Purley is looking for a full-time Nursery Assistant to join their team immediately. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an Early Years setting and possess relevant qualifications in Early Years Education. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early childhood development, with the skills to create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for young children.

Nursery Assistant Responsibilities:

• Support the daily activities and care of children in the nursery.
• Work in line with the EYFS framework, helping children to learn and develop through play-based activities.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment.
• Contribute to planning, delivering, and evaluating age-appropriate activities.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Nursery Assistant Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications in Early Years (Level 2 or 3 or equivalent).
• Experience working in an Early Years setting with knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
