Nursery: Bright Horizons Sawbridgeworth Day Nursery and Preschool*
*Job Type: Full- Time / Maternity Cover (9 month contract) / Mon-Fri / 40 hours*
*We are looking for a full time, Level 3+ qualified Room Leader to join our Bright Horizons Sawbridgeworth Nursery on a 9 month Fixed Term Contract covering maternity leave.
Bright Horizons Sawbridgeworth Nursery is a listed building which is Ofsted rated “Good” and situated in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire and is only a 10 minute walk from the station. The nursery is in a rural area with a lovely garden area and light airy rooms. Above industry standard salary, with annual salary reviews

* Ensure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities for the children, across both the indoor and outdoor areas
* Deliver and plan rich learning opportunities and exceptional care, to help all children to develop and meet their individual milestones
* Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and/or carers, as well as other professionals, to meet the individual needs of each child
* Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding
* Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
* Previous experience working within an Early Years setting - ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator or similar
* Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
* Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
* Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
