Part Time Nursery Chef - Waterlooville - £18,408 - Monday to Friday - 30 hours per week

An award - winning childcare provider is seeking a Nursery Cook to work at their site in Waterlooville.
You will be the sole chef cooking for around 45-55 children per day
You will work Monday to Friday 9am-4pm with a 1 hour lunch break so total of 30 hours.

Responsibilities:

To manage all aspects of the nursery kitchen to the highest standards, in line with legislation requirements.

To plan, organize, cook, and prepare a healthy balanced diet for all the children.

To ensure that all food hygiene procedures and kitchen duties follow the environmental health - safer food better business guidelines.

Engaging with the children for cooking and food activities.

Requirements:

Catering experience

Basic Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2

Knowledge and experience of food preparation for special dietary needs and allergies

Knowledge of health and safety issues

Capable of working under pressure in an organized way
