Odin Childcare Recruitment are proud to be working on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded nursery setting in their search for an exceptional Nursery Manager.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and passionate early years leader to take the reins of a vibrant setting, supported by a dedicated team and a forward-thinking ownership.
The Role: As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, and compliance. You will lead by example, inspiring and guiding your team to deliver outstanding outcomes for children while maintaining a warm, welcoming, and professional environment for families and staff.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the operational management of the nursery, ensuring compliance with EYFS, Ofsted and all relevant legislation
Lead, mentor and support the staff team, promoting high standards and staff development
Build strong, trusting relationships with parents, children, and the wider community
Maintain accurate records, safeguarding practices, and ensure health & safety policies are followed
Work closely with senior leadership/owners on strategy, occupancy, and continuous improvement
Drive high standards in planning, observations and assessments, supporting excellent early years education
Requirements: Level 3 or above in Early Years (essential)
Proven leadership experience in a nursery setting
Strong knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted standards, and safeguarding procedures
Confident communicator with strong organisational and people-management skills
A warm, positive and professional approach with a genuine passion for early years
