We are working with a fabulous nursery near Kensington, West London who are looking for a Room Leader to join their friendly team.
Close to the tube and local bus routes, this nursery cares for children from babies to 5 years old. The team at the nursery are fun loving and provide a diverse range of activities, including singing, maths, cooking, PE, woodwork and much more. The children also love to get out and about, with museum trips and visits in the community.�Situated in a beautiful building with lots of outside space, you will understand why the children love coming here!
As a room leader you will be understanding and compassionate with both children and their parents, and work with a range of colleagues to implement new ideas so that each learning outcome has a benefit to the nursery and especially the children.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing and supervising the daily activities in your designated nursery room, ensuring the safety and welfare of children.
- In charge of guiding and supporting nursery staff, including assistants and caregivers, in their day-to-day tasks.
- Clear communications skills throughout.
- Work with a pleasant and willing to help attitude.
- A minimum of a Level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience at a senior level role at a nursery.
- Knowledge of childcare development and practices.
- Strong rapport building skills.
