If yes, then we have an exciting job opportunity for you as a Nursery Teacher in Ivybridge.

Randstad is looking for a compassionate, dedicated, and competent Early Years educator to guide and inspire young children in their educational journey. Our focus is on providing understanding teachers who are proficient at establishing inclusive and supportive learning environments, using innovative and interactive teaching methods to involve students, and encouraging the academic and personal development of each child.

Requirements to become Nursery Teacher:


  • Enhanced Child DBS on the update service
  • QTS or equivalent qualification
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • 2 proven professional references
  • Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting
  • Strong communication skills and understanding of the curriculum
  • Ensure safety and well being of the children
  • A genuine passion for working with children and helping them thrive

Your Responsibilities include:


  • Create and implement engaging lesson plans that promote the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of young children.
  • Utilise developmentally appropriate teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of children, including play-based learning, storytelling, music, and art activities.
  • Monitor and assess individual children's progress and provide regular feedback to parents and caregivers on their developmental milestones.
  • Promote positive behaviour management techniques that encourage self-discipline and respect for others among children.
  • Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and standards set forth by school management authorities and organisational policies.
