For you, it means more to make an impact that matters, through challenging projects which demand ambitious innovation and thought leadership.Work with leading lights of industry.Gain exposure to continuous learning and development opportunities.Shape the future of TCS.The RoleAs an Observability Lead (New Relic), you will be accountable for managing observability requirements, design, source system integrations, tool configuration and implementation of the required dashboards for critical customer journeys in Ecommerce.Key responsibilities: Define Observability best practices aligned to industry standards.Showcase your understanding and experience of Observability and Site Reliability at scale.Optimize and maintain the New Relic platform to ensure comprehensive observability across all applications and infrastructure.Implement best practices for monitoring and observability to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and issues.Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate observability practices into the development lifecycle.Provide training and support to team members on using New Relic tools and interpreting observability data.Mentor and educate offshore team by improving New Relic tool knowledge.Engage directly with SME to co-develop innovative strategies that redefine how to efficiently manage, monitor, and analyze the infrastructure and applications.Foster a culture of teamwork, ensuring a two-way flow of relevant and timely information across the organization.Your ProfileKey skills/knowledge/experience: Extensive experience in Observability Engineering, performance monitoring, or a related role.Extensive experience with the New Relic platform, including APM, Infrastructure Monitoring, Browser Monitoring, and Synthetic Monitoring.Strong understanding of observability principles and practices, including metrics, logging, dashboarding and tracing.Experience with automation/orchestration tools: Ansible, Puppet, Chef and proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).Strong working knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., MS Azure, Salesforce Cloud) and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).Experience with technical documentation to include architecture diagrams, user guides, white papers or product manuals.Familiarity with Agile work management and/or the ability to effectively communicate processes within and across teamsGood to have: Worked on industry leading observability tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana etc.Retail Ecommerce experience.Understanding of key customer journeys in Retail Ecommerce area.Experience working in Product team and well versed with Agile ways of working.Rewards & Benefits TCS is consistently voted a Top Employer in the UK and globally.
