Occupation Therapist Assistant

This job role is for London Borough of Haringey, they are looking to employ someone for 36hours per week 9am to 5pm from 1st of Oct 2024 to 31st of Oct 2024. This is a full time work till Dec 2024. Description below:

Occupational Therapy Assistant to work in adaptations team. Role is to contact and assess residents who are waiting for an adaptation to make their property accessible. You will work with families of disabled children , older people and adults with a disability or long term health condition to support their independence through the provision of equipment and adaptations. You will have excellent verbal and written communication, be confident with IT processes and applications and have excellent customer care skills. There is an opportunity to developed skills in social care assessments and learn from OTs. You will have experience working in customer care and with older or disable people.
