Position: Occupational Health Advisor

Contract: Permanent, part-time and full-time hours available

Location: Royston (with requirement to travel)

Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience



The Role: We are looking for a passionate and experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is skilled in clinical activities, including vaccinations, phlebotomy, questionnaire screening, and medical assessments, and who is looking to further develop their case management skills.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Clinical Activities: Conduct health surveillance, medicals, health promotion activities, vaccinations, and phlebotomy.

  • Case Management: Provide professional occupational health case management advice to expedite early returns to work.

  • Health Promotion: Offer advice on health issues, health promotion, and health education to employers and employees.

  • Compliance: Ensure clinical standards of best practice, follow company policies, and maintain medical records.

  • Continuous Development: Participate in CPD and training to ensure compliance with NMC requirements and maintain evidence for revalidation.



What We’re Looking For:




  • Qualifications: RN qualification, Occupational Health degree/diploma, and active NMC registration.

  • Experience: Demonstrable experience within Occupational Health

  • Skills: Excellent organisational skills, communication skills, proficiency in MS Office applications, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Attributes: Professional appearance and approach, trustworthy, calm under pressure, willing to learn new skills, and possess a positive can-do attitude.

  • Additional Requirements: Full UK driving licence
