*Location:* Bedfordshire
*Contract Length: *On-going contract
*Pay: *£40.00 per hour

Join our dedicated team where your expertise can make a profound difference in the lives of our patients. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Stroke/Neuro Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality care and therapeutic interventions.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Assess and implement effective, evidence-based rehabilitation programs for patients recovering from strokes and other neurological conditions.
* Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
* Develop individualised treatment plans aimed at enhancing patients’ independence and quality of life.
* Educate patients and their families on treatment options and strategies for daily living activities.
* Monitor patient progress, documenting and reporting outcomes as per organisational standards.
* Participate in staff training and continuous professional development activities to stay updated with the latest therapeutic techniques and practices.
*Qualifications:*
· *Education:* A degree or master's degree in Occupational Therapy from a UK Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)-approved institution.
· *Registration:* Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and, if applicable, membership with the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT).
· *Experience:* Previous experience in an acute hospital setting is advantageous; however, newly qualified OTs are also encouraged to apply.
· *Skills:* Strong clinical reasoning skills, critical thinking abilities, and the capability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
· *Communication:* Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with patients, families, and colleagues effectively.
· *Compassionate Care:* A compassionate, patient-centered approach to care with a strong commitment to promoting patient independence and dignity.
*Physical Requirements:*
· Ability to perform manual handling tasks and assist patients with mobility and daily activities in accordance with organisational policies.
