Occupational Therapist

HCRG Staffing are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to work in Blackburn, Lancashire - although hybrid working available (remote from home). This is to work in a local authority (council).

The successful Occupational Therapist (OT) would be working in a occupational therapy service to children with a range of developmental and physical challenges. The team is committed to delivering personalised, compassionate care to help each child achieve their unique goals. Ideally would need Paediatric experience, but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify each child's needs for equipment and adaptations in the home and school environment.
• Conduct moving and handling risk assessments and develop handling plans.
• Provide assessment and recommendations for Disabled Facilities Grants.
• Complete specialist seating assessments.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.

This is a minimum 3 month locum contract will a view to extend and the service will consider full or part time hours. Hybrid working available. Supportive team.

Excellent pay rate of �41.00 per hour (using an umbrella of your choice).
