Occupational Therapist

Connect2SocialWork are recruiting an Occupational Therapist in Haringey to work as part of the Access and Independent Service: First Response, Reablement and the Assessment Service.

You will be expected to independently handle a caseload, completing community visits to clients. Assessment and provision of equipment to improve independence with activities of daily living and to reduce risk of injury. This includes manual handling assessments to reduce risk of injury to service users and carers and, where feasible, reduce packages of care for single handed care.

Requirements:

• Experienced Community Occupational Therapist
• BSc in Occupational Therapy
• HCPC and RCOT registered
• At least 18 months experience working as a registered Occupational Therapist
• Experience working in a community setting and working with people within their own homes
• Excellent communication in English, written and verbal
• Driving licence and access to car with business insurance
• Enhanced DBS

What's on offer:

• 36 hours per week
• Rate of pay: £39.96 per hour
