We are looking for an Office Assistant to join our Hereford based client. Based within the agricultural sector partnering with major clients you will be assisting with back-office support and helping with administrative tasks within the finance team. 

The Office Assistant is responsible for:


  • Answering phone calls and direct calls from customers.
  • Assisting with general administration including printing and sorting documentation.
  • Greeting visitors, drivers and couriers.
  • Processing invoices onto the internal system.
  • Post credit card and cash entries.
  • Account payable and receivable duties as and when required.

To be a successful Office Assistant you need to:


  • Experience using any accounting software.


  • Have strong IT skills, especially using Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Have a keen eye for detail, with excellent levels of accuracy in work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Possess strong communication skills and the confidence to deliver excellent customer service

The successful Finance Administrator will be paid a salary depending on experience. The job has a bus stop outside the premises and a car park if you drive. The hours are 24 hours per week spread across 3 days. 2 of which must be a Tuesday and Thursday. This opportunity is a temporary contact with the possibility to go permanent for the right person. Immediate start available.
