Our client, a global leader in providing geotechnical, survey, and geospatial services, specializing in data collection and analysis for the energy, infrastructure, and environmental sectors is currently seeking an Office Assistant for a short-term contract role (approx 2-3 weeks) based in Aberdeen.

ROLE

To provide office services assistance. In the areas of mail, reception duties.  Assist with general office duties for the company as required

RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Reception cover will be required for the company on a rotational basis, in conjunction with other office assistant(s).  Holidays and sickness cover will require full-time reception cover.
  • Open/sorting of incoming mail for the company
  • Distribution of external mail, faxes and internal mail throughout the building.  (currently two mail runs per day).
  • Franking all outgoing mail, recorded delivery, registered mail and overseas mail, maintaining records of all outgoing mail, liaison with mail collection services.
  • General office duties for other departments as required
  • To ensure personal appearance is appropriate for reception duties.

Additional: Ensure that the smooth running and operation of the reception area are maintained at all times, ensuring that all calls are answered promptly and courteously. Provision of effective and efficient mailroom and office services. Ensure good team-working relationships with other office assistant(s) and department secretaries
