Offshore Structural Engineer

I am currently looking to speak with an experienced Offshore Structural Engineer join a client based in Hampshire. 

Hybrid: 12 days per month to work remotely + 1 day carry over to next month. As such typically around 60% of time working remotely is available for individuals who wish to take advantage of this.

Projects: Carbon Capture / Onshore /  Offshore / Hydrogen /  Renewables 

Key Responsibilities

Extensive experience in offshore structure analysis and design per ISO1900, API RP2A, AISC codes.

Proficient in creating and verifying FEM models for fixed offshore structures.

Expertise in foundation system design, including piles and mud mats.

Skilled in re-design, brownfield assessments, life extension, and reliability analyses.

Experienced in non-linear analyses, including blast, impact, and pushover.

Familiar with offshore materials, fabrication, installation, and floater design.

Strong leadership in managing structural engineering teams and guiding tender processes.

Mentorship and tutoring experience for junior engineers.

Effective communication with project management and stakeholders.

Availability for international travel.

Proficient in DNVGL SESAM, USFOS, ANSYS, SACS, Windows OS, Microsoft Office, AUTOCAD

Minimum Requirements

Degree in engineering

Experience in various project phases, including Concept, Basic/FEED, and Detail Engineering, for both onshore and offshore Oil & Gas projects.
