Our dynamic culture is rooted in the continuous desire of our people to learn and challenge themselves.Role Summary Newly created due to growth we are seeking an Onboarding Executive to come and join our Strategic Operations Department. You will be responsible for supporting the Strategic Operations Department ensuring that the Aventum Group entities comply with all relevant regulations and legislation.Role AccountabilitiesManage the strategic operations mailbox; deal with day-to-day queries, ensure queries are properly assigned amongst the team, respond to promptly and ensure queries are logged following our record-keeping process.Make sure that the firm’s activities comply at all times with both its internal procedures, FCA and other legislative requirements.Oversee the firm’s TOBA management process, including the onboarding of new producing brokers, markets and other third parties. Conduct suitable due diligence including reviewing the financial strength of potential markets.Maintain and keep up to date the firm’s producing broker and markets database.Delivery on the quality monitoring framework.Ensure that adequate records are kept throughout the organisation to demonstrate compliance with FCA requirements and to facilitate regulatory reporting.Coordinate and oversee the firm’s involvement in external coverholder audits including liaising with key stakeholders, internal coordination and tracking the completion of remedial actions to ensure they’re appropriately addressed.Coordinate the collection of management information from the firm’s appointed representatives in line with their AR monitoring policy.Role Requirements1-2 years relevant compliance experience within a (re)insurance broker, MGA or Lloyd’s broker.Insurance or compliance qualifications e.g. CII, ICA.Skills and AbilitiesA good understanding of the FCA’s and Lloyd’s rules and guidance particularly applicable to the (re)insurance sector.A personable individual is key, willing to learn and comfortable working in a diverse, fast-paced environment.High attention to detail.Good level of IT literacy particularly in Excel and Word.We are an equal-opportunity employer, and we are proud to share that 93% of our employees say they can be themselves at work.
