Location: Thorpe St Andrew, Norwich (Hybrid Working)
Contract Type: Temporary (ongoing until May 2025 with the possibility of an extension).
Hours: 37hrs per week Monday - Friday - Hybrid Minimum 60% on-site 40% working from home
Pay Rate: �15.57 per hour

Join our dynamic Onboarding Team, part of a wider HR department, and play a vital role in processing new starters, returning staff, and internal movers within HM Treasury. This opportunity offers a unique chance to work on a specific project, supporting the onboarding of 240 staff transitioning due to Machinery of Government changes.

You'll work in a team of seven, contributing to critical tasks such as creating HR and payroll records, initiating security clearances, authorizing IT and building passes, and handling sensitive data with the utmost care and precision. There's potential to expand into additional HR projects based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and maintain HR records in Oracle.
  • Process payroll information for new and transitioning staff.
  • Manage security vetting through UK Security Vetting (UKSV).
  • Authorize IT and building passes following security checks.
  • Provide administrative support across various HR functions.
  • Ensure accurate and secure handling of sensitive personal data.

What We're Looking For:

  • IT literacy and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly (experience with Oracle is a bonus).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle personal information securely.
  • SC clearance is desirable but not essential.
