Online Services Technical Director | AAA Games | Up to £120k | Co-Development Studio | Fully RemoteOur client, a AAA co-development studio, is looking to hire an Online Services Technical Director for a newly created role within the company.In your capacity as Online Services Technical Director, you will oversee the creation and management of the online platforms, making sure they work flawlessly with the games and providing top-notch multiplayer experiences. You will oversee a group of engineers in the design, implementation, and optimisation of scalable and dependable online services that raise player pleasure and engagement by utilising your technical knowledge and leadership abilities.Candidate Requirements:Proven experience working on and releasing AAA games.Must come from a technical background possessing prior experience with C++.Thorough understanding of backend architectures for Azure.Knowledge of Unreal Engine.Good experience with PlayFab.Track record of success in managing technical teams and producing outcomes in a hurried, team-oriented setting.Working knowledge of chat, matchmaking, authentication, and CMS systems.Experience with iterative development environments with fast release cycles and familiarity with agile development approaches.Solid understanding of when and how to incorporate third-party tools and systems as opposed to creating them from the ground up.Salary and Benefits:£80,000 - £120,000 per annum.Fully remote opportunity able to be worked from anywhere in the world.A chance to work with top AAA studios.A well-established career ladder that offers chances for advancement, more responsibility, and pay.This Online Services Technical Director vacancy is being handled by Langham Recruitment Ltd.
