Some people have progressed locally, others further afield. This position is an Operational Finance Manager to support the Northern Ireland business as well as subsidiary business in Europe. This role supports the business in all areas of reporting, detailed analysis, forecasting and budgeting, internal control compliance, customer facing support, and all other aspects of financial and operational control. Responsibilities: Preparation of key monthly operational business summaries. Compares performance with operating plans covering key performance indicators. Provides reports and interprets the result of operation to all levels of management. Assist with monthly reporting and management packs, preparation of weekly scorecards. Ensure distribution of reports submitted to meet corporate and site deadlines including management review and discussion. Work with site managers to understand individual business trends in detail. Monitors sales, operations, and other departmental spending, ensuring trends and exceptions are appropriately analyzed and followed up. Responsible for timely preparation and development of forecasts and annual budgets. Bridge analysis to prior periods and budget with clear understanding of trends. Perform profitability analysis on transactions. Inventory management, review for trends, excess and obsolete reductions and forward looking views. Standard cost maintenance and annual upload of new year standard costs. PPV report review with analysis, interaction with supply chain to mitigate variances, looking ahead at projected impacts. Coordinate with management on internal control processes and procedures. Minimum Required Qualifications: University degree Qualified Accountant ACA, CIMA ACCA (or the international equivalent) 2 years experience as a financial or business analyst. Operational experience within business / would be advantageous Must have expert Microsoft Office Products experience, specifically with Excel, as well as the ability to learn corporate ERP system Evidence of comfort and familiarity around top management Competencies: Leadership skills Excellent communication Skills Excellent analytical skills Relationship management Customer focused, internal and external customers Time management skills Attention to detail Ability to meet deadlines Interested?
