Hamlyn Williams are working with a management consultancy client on an Operational Resilience project, with the end client being a Retail Banking entity.
Job Description
Development or review of the scenario testing programme, including assumptions made in relation to scenario design and any identified risks to the firm’s ability to remain within impact tolerances, including the production of scenario workshop write-ups and updating Self-Assessment.
Pre-workshop planning including collection, review and analysis of relevant information and artifacts (which should include existing testing, RCSA, incident data, audit reports etc).
Develop a testing plan with realistic assumptions and details how to gain assurance that the firm can remain within impact tolerances for important business services; this would consider the important business services to prioritise for testing, taking into account the relative risk posed safety and soundness, including severe but plausible disruption of its operations
Facilitating or leading scenario workshops.
Providing challenge and review of scenario outputs, including identified vulnerabilities, the judgments on e.g. plausibility of disruptions, and the action plans to address vulnerabilities
