Here at Sterling Recruitment Services we have an exciting opportunity for a Operations Administrator to join a busy transport office for a client based in Gateshead.
Working 5 out of 7 days on a rota basis. Shifts are 05:45am-14:15pm & 14:00pm-22:30pm.
We are ideally looking for candidates who have previous experience working within a busy transport office however this is not essential as there will be full training provided.
Duties include;
- Provide administrative support to site management team to support daily business activities
- Complete all administrative tasks in a timely and accurate manner
- Run system generated reports and update internal reports relating to site performance on a daily basis
- Update business and client systems as required by operational processes, including HDi, Key2 and E-pod
- Provide timely updates on site performance as required
- Engage directly with client representatives by phone, email or in person to resolve queries and know when to escalate, if appropriate
- Engage directly with customers to provide updates in relation to their delivery and to resolve queries
- Completion of employee records such as time sheets, holiday planners and new starters documentation
- Complete thorough debriefing of delivery crews on return to site, ensuring paperwork and E-pod debriefing is accurate and completed correctly
- Contacting customers where a delivery has failed to rearrange delivery in a timely manner
- �Completion of any reasonable management requests
Candidate criteria�
- Must have good IT skills�
- Must have experience using Microsoft systems�
- Must have good communication skills both verbal and written�
- Can work well within a pressurised fast paced�environment�
