Job Title: Operations Chef
Location: Multi-Site (Approx. 8-10 Sites)

We are seeking an Operations Chef to lead, inspire, and manage a team of chefs across multiple locations, working closely with an Operations Manager. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee around 8-10 sites, ensuring the highest standards are maintained, and you'll be an integral part of delivering exceptional food and service every day. The people who work with you will be your top priority—spotting talent, creating a sense of belonging, and developing leaders through training, coaching, and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:
Team Building: Constantly recruit and hire great kitchen talent, focusing on building high-performing teams of Head Chefs and Sous Chefs.
Leadership & Culture: Develop a strong culture of two-way feedback and coaching, understanding what motivates each team member to get the best from them.
Site Engagement: Frequently visit sites, work alongside kitchen teams, and ensure all kitchens maintain top quality standards. Expect to visit each site at least once a week.
Development Plans: Guide your Head Chefs with clear development plans to enhance their skills and the skills of their kitchen teams.
Hands-On Approach: Be prepared to step in as needed, whether it's prepping food, managing the pass, or covering a busy shift.
Menu & Standards: Ensure your kitchens adhere to company standards, from menu execution to rotas, training, and engagement in delivering seamless menu changes.
Operations Planning: Partner with your Ops Manager to plan and deliver operational excellence in each kitchen shift, ensuring the right staff are in place and standards are met.
Community Engagement: Work with your Ops Manager to engage with the local community through various initiatives, including charity work and local partnerships.
Performance Management: Stay on top of kitchen performance through KPIs such as wait times, Net Promoter Scores, food safety standards, and financial metrics.
Health & Safety: Own and enforce all H&S practices, from allergen management to site cleanliness, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and customers.

Where You Might Be Now:
You may currently be an Operations Chef, Kitchen Manager, or Area/Regional Chef in a bar, restaurant, café, or similar environment with experience in fresh food.
You have multi-site management experience and have balanced leadership with hands-on kitchen work.
You have experience managing large teams and driving KPIs while making commercial decisions to meet revenue targets.
