Hours: 14:00 – 23:00 Monday - Friday

Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role as a late shift (14:00-23:00) Same Day/AOG Controller located in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Same Day/AOG Controller will be responsible for coordinating time-critical same-day and AOG (Aircraft on Ground) shipments, ensuring timely pick-up and delivery of urgent consignments. The role involves liaising with customers, drivers, and other stakeholders to guarantee efficient service delivery. There will be a paid weekend on call element of this role covering alternate weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or transportation industries


• Strong organizational and time-management skills


• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities


• Ability to work well under pressure and in fast-paced environments


• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail


• Familiarity with air freight operations is a plus


• Proficiency in relevant software and systems for tracking and scheduling shipments


• Knowledge of AOG or on demand courier operations would be beneficial
