*Operations Coordinator | Rochdale | Full Time | £24,000 - £30,000 basic salary + Pension + 20 days holidaySamper Installation Ltd has a fantastic opportunity for an Operations Coordinator to join their busy Projects team.We specialise in the installation and maintenance of single and integrated automated materials handling systems on behalf of our clients. The business offers a wide range of installation services to cater for the requirements of its client base, including the installation of AutoStore systems, Layer Picker systems, and conveyor systems. Samper has over 20 years of operational history and has cultivated strong client relationships, producing a large amount of repeat customers.As an Operations Coordinator, you will report to our Head of Operations and be responsible for supporting all operational and project planning activities including organising site tools and materials. You will be a key member of the team working alongside sales managers, and site supervisors and be expected to be a strong team player and have the ability to work flexibly without supervision.Are you the right person for the job?Skills and qualifications:You may already be in a Project Management discipline and we would be interested in candidates who have experience working in any fast paced environmentStaffing recruitment background could be of interestQualified candidates will have impeccable verbal and written communication skills, a strong ability to multi-task and a friendly demeanourYou will need to be a genuine team player but also capable of working under your own initiativeGood PC & IT skills including Excel & Word Experience in materials handling site operations or project management would be idealComputer literate, especially O365Excellent communication and organisational skillsAttention to detailTeam playerProactive and punctualWhat will your role look like?Provide support to the Operations Manager in all aspects of projects and site manning planningUpdate and maintain systems with current and amended planning, timing & resource dataProvide general administration support for the Projects and Operations teamProvide documentation support for the site teams as required.Provide support to sales/operations for ordering supplies and hiring equipment for a site as and when necessaryAssisting with PPE and staff uniform ordersAny other duties as required by sales and operationsProviding holiday and sickness cover to the operations teamWhat’s next?
