The opportunity:
We are partnering with a fantastic, award-winning premium food challenger brand that is committed to delivering high-quality products in a sustainable and ethical way. Due to expansion and growth, they are seeking an exceptional Operations Director to join their senior leadership team. This is a critical new senior hire for the business, where you will help drive operational efficiencies and strategy to support the company’s growth.
About the role:
As Operations Director, you will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring efficient and effective processes are in place. With the business focusing on premium, you will ensure all products meet the highest possible standards and comply with regulatory requirements and sustainability goals.
You will set clear objectives aligned with the company’s vision and values, hold the team accountable and drive the operations to support the growth of the business. The remit is broad covering supply chain and operations, technical and product innovation. This role will report directly into the CEO/Founder.
A great candidate will have the following?
Extensive experience in a senior operations role within the food industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills to inspire and develop a team.
Must have third party contract manufacturing experience, ideally with international suppliers.
Outstanding levels of communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as a part of a team.
Innovative and agile approach to changing priorities.
Results-oriented and driven to achieve measurable results.
You need to be entrepreneurial, with strong values and ethics.
