We are currently hunting for a talented Operations Director to join our clients growing team based in Eastbourne!

\n

Specialising in PVCu windows, doors and conservatories manufactured in the Eastbourne head office and servicing trade and retail customers throughout the South-East, this is an exciting opportunity to lead Operational Strategy reporting directly to the Managing Director.

\n

Day to day as Operations Director you will:

\n

\n
• Align operational capabilities with business requirements, optimise processes, reduce costs, and maintain quality standards.
\n
• Develop and execute risk management strategies, oversee procurement and supply chain activities, and manage contracts and supplier relationships.
\n
• Ensure safety in product assembly, enforce safety culture and standards, and develop health & safety policies across all business units.
\n
• Monitor, evaluate, and develop the performance and capabilities of the Operations team, ensuring effective resource allocation and adherence to compliance procedures.
\n
• Oversee warehousing, distribution, and logistics, ensuring efficiency, value for money, and alignment with business strategies.
\n

\n

Our ideal Operations Director will have:

\n

\n
• Previous experience in a Senior Operational role, used to reporting to the Board.
\n
• A manufacturing background and experience within a trade & retail business would be advantageous especially within the Building markets.
\n
• A drive to succeed and deliver against agreed company objectives.
\n
