Description of Role: The Energy Services Mechanical Operations Manager plays a pivotal role as a team leader, working closely with their team to foster strong bonds and develop managerial skills. Key responsibilities include:

  • Promoting a positive health and safety culture.
  • Taking a proactive and innovative approach to service delivery.
  • Leading and motivating the team, embodying culture.
  • Ensuring engineers and external contractors adhere to service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Training and mentoring apprentices and improvers.
  • Focusing on service quality and efficiency.
  • Utilizing and understanding a Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system.
  • Delivering planned preventative maintenance.
  • Providing technical support on-site.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely service reports.
  • Building excellent customer relationships.
  • Participating in customer review and planning meetings.
  • Assisting in engineer recruitment.
  • Managing site assets and implementing company policies.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Managing daily operations within the Energy Services team.
  • Ensuring services meet contract terms.
  • Cultivating customer relationships.
  • Mentoring and supporting team members.
  • Monitoring team sales and profit performance.

Qualifications:

  • Accredited management qualification or certificate.
  • BTEC Higher Engineering HND.
  • 'A' Levels.

  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and management abilities.
  • Proven engineering experience and HVAC knowledge.
