What you’ll be doing:



  • Leading the Building Information Management (BIM) team within the Site Engineering department

  • A key stakeholder and facilitator of the implementation and management of BIM within the Site Engineering department, including documentation, workflows, software/hardware capabilities etc.

  • Managing internal and external stakeholders and suppliers

  • Facilitating the data capture of the existing Submarines estate through “Scan2BIM” to bring pre BIM delivered facilities into the 3D built environment

  • Supporting with BIM model validation


Your skills and experiences:


Essential:



  • Management or team leader experience

  • Experience working with AutoCAD and Revit software

  • Experience working with BIM technologies across large sites


Desirable:



  • Degree qualified in a relevant subject or equivalent

  • Proficient and/or qualified in ISO 19650 BIM principles

  • Experience coordinating requirements capture and document creation

The Building Information Management team:


Within this role you will be a key player leading a small dynamic team being involved within the early stages in BIM implementation across the Site & Facilities function. This unique position will give you the opportunity to utilise your current abilities while also developing on your skillsets to support the transition of the department into the digital built environment within the largest defence contractor in Europe. We offer relocation support across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
