we are currently recruiting for a experienced operations Manager for a well established international client based in Pembroke

The Operations Manager role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the manufacturing and assembly facility. The ideal candidate will have a background within a manufacturing/production environment, with extensive experience in quality & manufacturing engineering,. Ideally the candidate will have significant experience in safety and some experience in HR management, The selected candidate will be well versed in production leadership, quality initiatives, H&S regulations and BSI standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Experience working within production management and leading cross functional teams.
• Occupational & manufacturing health & safety knowledge and safety management experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Significant knowledge of quality management, ensuring policies and protocols are adhered to.
• Extensive understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
• HR management experience.
• Lead & Coordinate production teams via the Production Controller.
• Lead compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. HSE, BSI) and internal policies.
• Be a trusted point of contact for key customers and organisations.
• Liaise between operations teams, engineering and sales departments to ensure
• customer requirements/specifications for completed products are captured accurately. and communicated back to operations teams.
• Ensure completed work is captured accurately for efficiency monitoring purposes.
• Lead process operation, safety and auditing systems reviews
• Lead quality monitoring and production control processes
• Raise and update risks and opportunity action plans in line with QMS.

The Candidate:

• HSE compliance (COSHH, risk assessments, method statements, contractor management etc)
• Ensure timely completion of production process
• Minimal quality defects
• BSI Standards maintained
• Process Improvement
• Production Efficiency Improvement
• Lease with Insurance Inspectors in line with legislative compliance
