Tapping into the growing global presence of holistic well-being, they use best-in-class ingredients, healing plant and flower essences, and energetic medicine to create tangible products and meaningful experiences for a modern audience.They are recruiting a dedicated Operations Manager with a strong understanding of perfumery/fragrances. Reporting to the Owner/Founder of the business, you will have overall responsibility for delivering excellent operations across the company, supporting commercial projects, and improving processes and systems ensuring the company has a strong platform to grow.Areas of responsibility cover retail, Digital, Distribution and Logistics, Customer Service, IT & Systems, and Customer Service. You will also be responsible for managing the teams within logistics and customer serviceKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:RETAIL: .Provide retail operations to the Retail stores.Review and support the EPOS systems and ensure that they are correctly utilised, and staff are fully trained to use them across the retail network, implementing integration between different applicationsfully trained to use across the retail network, implementing integration between different applicationsReview and refine a process for the replenishment of stock and supply of materials to the stores.Oversee order fulfilment: pick + pack, dispatch, returns.Manage the shipping/courier.Manage customer services.DISTRIBUTION & LOGISTICS:Responsible for shipping across the business, managing the carrier accounts, improving deliveries and managing the logistics team.Oversee warehousing, both in-house and with 3PLS, managing the accounts, improving processes, implementing KPIs and analysisManage the wholesale distributionAnalyse and review the supply chain, constantly looking for ways to improveResponsible for QC on all deliveries and reporting back to the Buying teamCUSTOMER SERVICES:Manage the Customer services teamUtilize the Customer service team to make additional sales and develop clientsINVENTORY:Introduce good stock management practices across the business, to increase visibility, security, identification and analysisImplement stock control, movements/ inter-store transfers, tagging, and barcoding systemsReview and improve databases for product data, pricing, and stock analysis and reportingIT & SYSTEMS:Support the various computer applications across the business: Lightspeed, Zedonk, Xero etc..Manage the IT consultant.Strive for maximum integration across the various platforms.Improve data management and reporting.PERSON REQUIREMENTS:Min. 5 years experience working in operations & logistics with fragrance/perfumery, skincare, fashion or accessories brands.Experience with multi-channel businesses (Retail, Wholesale and E-commerce)Strong organizational and analytical skillsExcellent communication skillsPeople managementComfortable working in an international environment
