JetMS Completions is an Aircraft Interiors company based at Biggin Hill Kent, London. Its main objective is to supply Design, Certification, Manufacture and Installation of commercial and VVIP aircraft interiors to the aviation industry.The purpose of the Operations Manager is to provide leadership to all manufacturing and production staff within JetMs Completions. This position is a “Form 4 Nominated Post Holder” position.Reporting directly to the Managing Director, a key element to this role is to implement and maintain a Safety Management System and to ensure that all work carried out is completed in accordance with our internal procedures and to ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:Form 1 SignatoryBusiness analysisProduction oversight, including supply chain, planning & inspection.Support quality & compliance managementReporting to MDReview and administration of Factory MasterProvide guidance and mentoringEmbed Project Management fundamentalsEmbed capacity planningIdentify training needs within direct team and provide coaching and development where neededCo-ordination with Production, Purchasing, Design, Stores and Quality.Compliance with company proceduresControl of overtime, annual leave, absences and attendanceSupport sales team in generating accurate quotationsDevelop and maintain a Capacity Plan to ensure we have the required resources to complete contracted projectsLiaison and expediting sub-contractors and suppliersComputer literate with experience of MRP systems (Factory Master – Preferred)Preparation of management reportsUnderstanding Engineering DrawingsUsing CMM and equivalent aircraft dataKnowledge & Qualifications:A good academic standard of education & previous experience gained in similar or related environment.Awareness and practical understanding of Safety Management Systems.Working knowledge of International and National Civil Aviation legislation, EASA, FAA, CAA, part 145, EASA 21 Sub Part G & J.A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office packages, sharepoint experience advantageous.Awareness of company finances and how to build and maintain project budgets.Human FactorsISO 9001 AuditorAviation related Engineering QualificationsProject Management training (preferred)Ability to gain approval for Form 1 signatory, and Form 4 NPH.Working knowledge of UK HR regulations.Working Knowledge of SMS (Safety Management Systems)Benefits:Company pensionFree parkingOn-site parkingSchedule:Monday to Friday
