Operations Manager

Well established Manufacturer in the Northamptonshire area are currently looking for a�Operations Manager to join the team and drive managerial team as well as implement best practice on the shopfloor.�

Reporting into the General Manager; you will be a strong communicator and will be a key advocate for Engagement with internal stakeholders, the workforce & external stakeholders. You will be a key ambassador for Quality, Health & safety, Your People, Cost & Delivery. You will be a key part of driving cultural change on site & driving positive change within the Production team.�

Role: Operations Manager�
Salary: up to �50,000 (depending on experience) + bonus + benefits�
Location:�Northamptonshire (commutable from Kettering, Northampton, Market Harborough, Rushden, Wellingborough, Corby, Oundle)���

Key Responsibilities for the Operations Manager
Oversee day-to-day operations using the SQCDP review & implement improvements where possible.�
Mentor and develop the�team around you to build a positive and nurturing environment.�
Manage and mentor a diverse team of direct reports & fostering engagement and professional growth.
Driving a strong culture of Health & Safety on site.�
Collaborate with sales teams to meet revenue targets and identify market opportunities.
Help implement a culture of process improvement��
Key Requirements for the Operations Manager:

• Tangible record of Success in an Senior Management role within a Manufacturing environment�
• Qualification in Engineering (Degree, HNC, HND)��
• Formal Qualification in NEBOSH/IOSH ideally or experience or driving HSE in a regulated environment�
• Strong communication skills is key; forging strong relationship with the your various direct reports
• Engagement & Empowerment will be key to this role�
