A leading precision manufacturing organisation in High Wycombe are recruiting now for an Operations Manager to join them on a full time, permanent basis as a direct result of company growth. This manufacturing organisation specialise in a variety of machining, forming and assembling capabilities and require an experienced Operations Manager or someone within a supervisory/leadership level role to assist in the drive and growth of the organisation.

Ideal candidate responsibilities and background




  • Must have a strong background within a regulated, manufacturing environment

  • Responsible for Customer Communication, Production & Operations, Production Planning, Materials and Procurement, SOP, Maintenance scheduling, Waste Management, H&S and Training and Development.

  • Hold a strong people management background (Team Leader/Production Supervisor/Production Manager level)

  • Hold experience�managing different parts of a business




  • Managing the site and the operation in full

  • Looking after everything operationally (sales output, purchasing, on time delivery, customer management and customer escalations etc)

  • Employee performance management, disciplinary actions, conflict management, appraisals and training

  • Working alongside the Managing Director, any ad-hoc request

  • Potential requirement to work off-site, at any suitable trade shows.
